What I thought for Bigger

My first reaction for what Bigger had done to Mary Dalton was that he was scared because he had betrayed their trust. The first job he had to do was only to drive Mary to college but she told him to drive her to her boyfriend house that he was a Red. Bigger only new about Reds that he had her in the movies about them, but Mary was telling him that they were his Friends and only wanted to help him.
